Kape Brew: Made Just For You

Out with the old, in with the new. This coffee shop is made just for you. Last June 14, 2017 I went to Kape Brew together with my co-bloggers for a fun-filled Bloggers’ Night.

Kape Brew is located at Tres Palmas 154 Levi B. Mariano Ave., Ususan Taguig City. From outside, the place looks nice and artsy that’s why I got too excited to go inside. And I was right, the place is pretty amazing! It’s minimalist but not boring because of its instagrammable elements. The tables and chairs are made from rustic woods and some has clean white cushions. The place is very cozy thanks to their cool statement pillows. Overall, the ambiance of the place gave the impression that this store is serving really good food.

Now, I’ll give my verdict to the food that they served to us. First on the list is the Beef Tapa. It is not the usual beef tapa that you can buy elsewhere because the meat is very tender, juicy but not oily. I was surprised that it’s sweet because most of the tapas that I’ve tried are salty and savory but this beef tapa tastes good and it’s better with their vinegar.

Next on the list is the Beef Lasagna that is served in a wooden chopping board with garlic bread on the side. This lasagna is good for sharing because of its generous serving. It’s meaty, cheesy and creamy, I like how Kape Brew balanced it all out. And the pasta has the right thickness. The garlic bread complements well to the lasagna and added extra flavor to the dish.

The third dish that I’ve tried is the Spicy Tuna Croissant. This good looking dish pleased my eyes and eventually pleased my taste buds. It has a lot of things in it that made it beyond tasty. I love that the bread has some crispiness, it brought its cheesy and not so spicy taste up a notch.

Ensaymada is the fourth on the list. There’s nothing special in its looks but when I tasted it it’s different from the ensaymada that I know. It’s grainy (I hope you know what I mean) but it’s delicious and there’s something good about this ensaymada that I can’t figure out.

Next on the list is the star of the Bloggers’ Night for me, the Oreo Cheesecake. I’ve tried so many cheesecakes before and this is one best! It has a very fine and smooth consistency to the point that I did not exerted any effort to chew it because it melts in my mouth. The oreo is legit and blends perfectly to the cheesecake.

The last thing that I’ve tried is the Cookies and Cream Frappe. It delivered as promised. It has the usual milky and creamy tastes but I think the cookies that they use is special because this frappe tastes expensive.

My first Bloggers’ Night is memorable indeed. I had a chance to try delicious food while having good conversation with my co-blogger and I felt that that night was made just for us.
